Visa is looking for a mostly competent Product Owner professional to join our creative squad in Bangalore. We are looking for candidates with a graduate degree and relevant artificial experience.
The Visa Data Science team in CEMEA includes the Data Solutions and Subscriptions team. The goal of the VCA Solutions team, as opposed to the broader Data Science community, is to build reproducible, scalable assets from VisaNet data that consultants can utilize to solve the problems of regional clients. The team's primary goal is to commercialize all of the scalable assets that are already available, such as dashboards and data insight feeds. We intend to scale subscription services, greatly expand the team's asset portfolio, and assist VCA CEMEA's aspirational commercial expansion in the future year.
Principal Duties & Important Outcomes
Product ownership of data insights feeds and current solutions:
- Development & Enhancement: Transform features into user stories within a team's backlog, manage prioritization to ensure it reflects stakeholder requirements and priorities, and act as a business owner proxy while communicating with internal and vendor-supported implantation squads.
- Oversee the pricing, training, and go-to-market phases of the current solutions assets' lifecycle.
- Encourage the solution and subscriptions to be commercialized.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, DS teams, and vendors to convey the needs of business stakeholders and make that the development team meets predetermined acceptance criteria, such as performance and quality expectations.
- Encourage close cooperation with the VCA CEMEA Service Line Leads (Portfolio Management, Digital, Risk, Merchant & Acquiring, Commercial) by learning about the market and customer needs, spotting possible scalable solution opportunities, gathering business needs, and assisting with Go-to-Market and market enablement.
- Collaborate with Global Practice Leads to utilize global consulting solutions, obtain analytical or other services, and integrate best practices.
- Provide and oversee a network of outside agency or vendor partners.
- Keep up a great rapport with the entire vendor team, overseeing delivery as necessary.
- Help with vendor selection, hiring, onboarding, and induction
- Collaborate with other groups and outside experts to create fresh, enhanced instruments and methods for upcoming consulting projects.
- Oversee the project's finances and resources to complete all necessary tasks.
- Communicate with the Finance, Audit, Legal, Tax, and Sourcing functional teams of VISA to establish and execute procedures that maximize everyday vendor involvement and client interactions.
This job is a hybrid. Hybrid workers are able to switch
between working remotely and in the office. Workers in hybrid jobs are required
to work from the office two or three days a week, depending on the site and
leadership. In general, they should be in the office at least 50% of the time,
depending on business requirements.
